When you slap together a bunch of nonsense facts just to sound smart, but someone calls you out. You get to back out of the conversation like you’re saving face instead of looking like a total idiot.
"I studied this in my sleep!", then I got called out for mixing up 1920s and 1980s stuff.
Used the MacGlutenary Rule after I said the moon was made of cheese and someone said, 'You’re full of crap.'
Tried to explain the Pythagorean theorem using pizza slices, then ran for cover.

A fancy way to say you made up stuff and got caught. Now you can walk away like you’re king of the hill instead of the guy who said the sky is green.
"The sky is green!", and then I had to run away from my teacher.
Used the rule after saying the Earth was flat and the sun was a giant flashlight.
Got called out for saying cats invented the internet, and I took off like a bat out of hell.

Said the president was a wizard and then ran out when people laughed.
