A river goddess who’s way more fun when she’s not in a book, but sometimes she’s just there to make things complicated for kids who read too much.

In Narnia, the naiad was nice. In real life, she’s a nightmare.

I thought I was in a fantasy book. Turns out I was just in a lake.

My teacher made me read about naiads. I now hate rivers.
