Laiquendi
Laiquendi are forest elves who hate company and don’t bother showing up unless you’re lucky, or stupid. They’re like the elves of the Third Age, but even more annoying because they speak a weird language.
I walked through the woods for days and saw zero Laiquendi. I was so annoyed I yelled at a squirrel.
My cousin tried to talk to one, and it just stared. He was too scared to yell back.
I saw one hiding in a tree, and it looked like it wanted to die.
