Da Hui is a group of real Hawaiians who showed up in the ’70s to fight off tourists who didn’t respect the waves or the culture. If you drop in on them, they’ll beat your ass so hard you’ll wish you were a tourist.
I dropped in on Da Hui once and got kicked out of the water like I was a rookie.
They’re real locals and they don’t take any shit from tourists.
