D1 Dad
A dad who either played D1 sports or acts like a crazy person to make sure their kid gets into a D1 school so they can brag for the rest of their life.
"I had a 3.2 GPA and a 1400 SAT. My kid has a 2.7 and a 1050. He's still getting into D1.", D1 Dad in a Facebook group.
D1 Dad: 'You're not going to college. You're going to a D1 school. There's a difference.' Kid: 'I don't even know what a D1 school is.'
D1 Dad: 'I'm paying for your whole life. Don't make me regret it.', said during a practice that lasted 4 hours.
