Paid in corn dogs
Getting paid with something stupid and cheap like free snacks or getting your face on a poster. It’s basically a scam for people who think they’re special.
I worked 12 hours at the con just to get a free corn dog and a photo with a guy who thinks he’s a superhero.
They called me a ‘volunteer’ but I got more work than a full-time employee.
I got a corn dog and a sticker. That’s it. I’m never going back.
