A musical about Japan that white guys made, and it's awesome. It’s about some guy named Matthew who showed up in 1853 and basically told Japan to stop being a closed-off mess.

My history teacher called it the best musical ever. I called it a masterpiece. He called me a genius. I called him a fool.

I saw this show and cried. Not because it was sad. Because I was too tired to stop laughing.

I told my mom I was gonna fail math if I didn’t get into this show. She said I was gonna fail math anyway.

A show about Japan that’s as good as it sounds. Stephen Sondheim made it, and he’s not a fool. It’s about a guy who showed up and basically told Japan to open up or else.

My friend said this show was the best thing since sliced bread. I said that’s what I thought when I ate the last piece of bread.

I got into this show and my dog got jealous. He started barking at the stage.

I told my teacher this show was better than my life. He said I was right.
