p-town - Any town that starts with a P, even if it doesn't make sense

Any town that starts with a P, even if it doesn't make sense. Like, why is it P-Town? Who decided that?

I went to P-Town and it turned out to be Portsmouth. Who the hell decided that?

I thought I was going to a P-Town, but I ended up in Portsmouth. I'm confused and I don't like it.

P-Town is just a stupid nickname for any town that starts with P. It's not even real.
