P-166
The P-166S Albatross is a transport plane that South Africa got because they were broke and it was the only thing left on the shelf. It’s been doing search and rescue since the 1950s and still hasn’t retired.
It’s like an airplane that’s been stuck in the 1950s and won’t come out.
The Albatross flew around like it was trying to find a lost sock and a missing kid at the same time.
That thing’s been flying since before your parents were born, and it’s still going strong.
