Octaving is what happens when a trumpet player goes all out and hits the highest notes ever. It’s like they’re trying to explode.
The trumpet player did an octaving and the whole band laughed.
When he did octaving, the teacher said he’s the best trumpet player in the school.
Octaving is the reason the trumpet player got extra credit.
