A fake object you use to get people to stare at it so you can do something sneaky or run off like a coward. It’s the worst kind of distraction, and you’re probably the worst friend ever.
I made them look at a weird cat so I could steal their snack.
I waved a neon sign that said 'BOOM' so I could run from my dad.
I showed them a giant cupcake so I could sneak out and eat it.
