Obake is basically a ghost that gets called names and gets really angry, like Tamahome from Fushigi Yuugi, who had an oni face on his head and got teased by Tasuki until he almost drowned or got his face smashed.
Tamahome got called ‘little ghost’ and started crying, and then he tried to drown Tasuki.
Tasuki kept teasing Tamahome about his obake face until he got kicked out of the group.
Tamahome’s obake face was so annoying, he almost killed Tasuki with a punch.
