A big wooden stick you hit water with, like you’re trying to wake up the lake and it’s not working.

I used an oar to hit the water, but the lake didn’t wake up. I’m disappointed.

An oar is just a stick. I use it like it’s a sword.

I hit the water with my oar like I was trying to start a war.
