a simple no, but said with so much attitude it feels like a full-blown argument. it's when you say 'nah uh' like you're the only one who knows the truth.
"He said he could do 10 push-ups. I said 'nah uh.' He did 5."
"She said her brother could beat her in a game. I said 'nah uh.' She won."
"He said he could eat the whole cake. I said 'nah uh.' He ate half."
