When a defender thinks he just killed the ball, but some receiver just casually catches it before it hits the dirt like it was nothing. It’s called a Madden Catch because it happens so much in the Madden games it’s like a joke.

I swatted the ball out of the air and thought I was a god, then some kid caught it like it was a free throw.
