Laang
A laang is basically a machete in South India. It’s what you use to slice up coconuts and trees like they owe you money.
My cousin used a laang to cut down a coconut tree and then threw the coconuts at his brother.
The laang was so sharp, it almost cut my finger off.
I tried using a laang to open a coconut, and it took me three tries to get it right.
