la raza
Literally means ‘the race’, but in reality, it’s a group of people who think they’re better than everyone else because they’re Mexican. Also, they try to get people to believe they’re not ‘illegal’, even if they are.
My friend’s mom said, ‘La raza is the only reason I’m not in jail.’
My uncle DM’d me, ‘La raza is like a gang, but with better food.’
My brother said, ‘They’re not ‘illegal’, they’re just ‘not official’, and that’s a la raza thing.’
