La-ah (La-dash-uh)
A dumb city name that people started using in 2007 and it stuck around like a bad habit. The tagline is 'the dash don't be silent', like the dash is a person who can’t stand being ignored.
My brother said 'La-ah' and I said 'Lah-ah' and we fought over it like it was a real thing.
I texted my mom 'La-ah' and she replied with 'What the hell is that?'
My teacher said 'La-ah' and the whole class started laughing. I didn’t know why.
