Jackdaw
A made-up monster people use when they don’t want to admit they don’t know what you’re talking about. It’s like saying ‘a dragon ate my homework’ but way less impressive.
‘What’s a jackdaw?’ I asked. He said, ‘A mythical creature. Go away.’
She said I was a jackdaw. I said she was a jackdaw. We both were.
He said I was a jackdaw. I said he was a jackdaw. The whole class laughed at us.
