A jabberjay is a bird that copies voices and talks trash. It’s like the Capitol’s way of saying, ‘We’re gonna make you suffer, and we’ll do it with birds.’
My jabberjay said, ‘You’re fat and you know it.’ I was so mad I screamed at the Capitol.
The jabberjay copied my mom’s voice and told me I was a failure. I cried.
I got a jabberjay for my birthday. It said, ‘You’re the worst.’ I threw it out the window.
