A phrase used when you get given a weak beer, usually by some guy who thinks it’s the best thing ever. It’s a real thing from Kentucky, and it’s stupid.
'I know, I was there,' he said, after getting given a weak beer.
'I know, I was there,' she said, after seeing the guy from Kentucky drink the same weak beer 10 times.
'I know, I was there,' he said, even though he could barely taste the beer.
