A Hagsy is someone who gets stuck in the worst situations like a worm in a pickle jar. They’re usually from Scotland or have ginger hair and are never surprised when things go wrong.
My neighbor is a Hagsy. She tried to propose to her husband in the middle of a football match and got laughed at by the whole town.
