Using the word fag in public when you're too much of a wimp to say it privately.

I called him a fag in front of the class because I was too much of a wimp to tell him to his face.

She said he was a fag at the park because she was too scared to tell him to his face.

He told me I was a fag in front of my friends because he didn't have the guts to tell me to my face.
