This word was used by Arizona nerds in the '70s when they were playing Tunnels and Trolls and their character got crushed by a giant rock. It's basically saying, 'Oh my god, that hurts!'
Gadz! My character died from a giant bear.
My friend got hit by a truck. Gadz!
I ate a whole cake in one bite. Gadz!
