Fad-fans are people who are too lazy to think. They follow whatever is popular just so they can say they’re in on the cool thing, even if they’re not cool.
‘I followed this person because they had a million followers. I don’t even know what they do.’
‘I bought this dumb thing just because it was trending. I haven’t used it once.’
‘I dropped my old favorite artist because a new one was trending. Who cares if they’re bad?’
