facsimile
A fancy way of sending pictures or papers over the phone so some other stupid device can pretend it understands what you're talking about.
My boss sent me a facsimile of his angry face. It was basically a screaming emoji on paper.
The restaurant sent me a facsimile of the menu. I just threw it in the trash and ordered pizza.
