You try to tab someone on IRC but you tab someone who is not even online and it’s the worst thing ever.

I tabbed my brother but he was offline. I waited for 2 hours and nothing happened.

I tabbed my crush but she was asleep. I got a reply at 3 a. m. It was not worth it.

I tabbed my math teacher but he was on vacation. I had to do 50 problems for that.
