Eating onions and spotting dimes
When George is so far gone he thinks dimes are floating in the air but can't tell if a vegetable is an apple or an onion. It’s like he’s high and blind.
He tried to pick up a dime off the floor and grabbed an onion. He thought it was a prank.
He saw a dime in the sky and yelled, 'I'm rich!' Then he realized it was an onion growing out of a tree.
He asked for a salad and got an onion. He thought it was a sign of wealth.
