A POP email is a mailbox on the server that holds your emails like a jail cell until you log in and let them all go free.
My POP was like a jail cell with 500 emails. I was confused.
I logged in and my POP had 100 emails. I was happy.
My friend’s POP was empty because he let all the emails go free.
