When your job gives you an email, and then they use it to fire you or make you look bad. It’s like being set up for a punchline you didn’t write.
My email was used as evidence in a meeting where I was told I was ‘not a team player’ even though I was the one who stayed late every night.
They printed out my emails and showed them to the whole office like I’d sent them all in a fit of rage.
They used my email to say I ‘didn’t care about the company’ even though I was the one who fixed the printer.
