Daffne is a total mess who hides her feelings like a sassy kid who doesn’t want to admit they’re sad. She’ll say ‘I’m okay’ but you know she’s dying inside like a sad, fat cat.
‘I’m fine’ she said, while crying in the hallway.
She texted me ‘I’m okay’ but she was definitely sad.
She smiled through her tears like she was trying to be cool.
