Dad Half Hour
A dad’s way of saying 'I’m not leaving' but pretending he’s only gone for half an hour.
Dad: 'I’ll be back in half an hour.' (He walks out of the house and doesn’t come back for two hours.)
Dad: 'Half an hour!' (He’s still watching TV when the kids start screaming.)
Dad: 'I’ll be back in half an hour.' (He comes back 45 minutes later and says, 'I was stuck in traffic.' )
