A weird-ass word from some faraway land that means hello. Mr. Burns from The Simpsons says it when he answers his phone like he’s the king of the universe.
"Hoi hoi!" Mr. Burns yelled at the phone like it owed him money.
My little brother said "Hoi hoi!" and got yelled at by his mom.
I said "Hoi hoi!" and got a weird look from my teacher.
