A big ask is when someone tries to make you do something and it sounds like they’re asking for the moon, but it’s just a bit of work. Like, why not just say please?
My teacher said, 'This is a big ask, but I know you can do it!' I said, 'Sir, I can do it, but I’m not going to like it.'
My friend said, 'A big ask, but worth it!' I said, 'Worth it? I think I’m going to die.'
My dad said, 'A big ask, but you’ll thank me later.' I said, 'I’m going to thank you after I finish this.'
