Nabillah

Nabillah walked past me in the hallway and didn’t even say hi. I asked her if she was mad at me. She said, 'I’m not mad. I just don’t know you.'

She sat in the front of the class but refused to answer any questions. I asked her why. She said, 'Because I’m not stupid. I just don’t want to be noticed.'

Nabillah got a B on her test and cried. I said, 'You’re not even trying.' She said, 'I’m trying. I just don’t want to be seen.'

Nabillah was sitting next to me in lunch and didn’t even look at me. I said, 'You’re like a ghost.' She said, 'I’m not a ghost. I just don’t like you.'

She got called on in math class and said, 'I don’t know.' I said, 'You know. You just don’t want to answer.' She said, 'I don’t want to be noticed.'

Nabillah got a seat in the front of the bus but refused to sit next to anyone. I asked her why. She said, 'Because I’m not a social person. I’m just a quiet one.'

Nabillah walked into the room and everyone looked at her. I said, 'You’re like a celebrity.' She said, 'I’m not a celebrity. I’m just not friendly.'

She got a 90 on her quiz and didn’t even smile. I said, 'You’re so cool.' She said, 'I’m not cool. I’m just not talkative.'

Nabillah was asked to join a club and said no. I said, 'Why?' She said, 'Because I don’t want to be seen.'
