A Canadian Forces base in New Brunswick where all the new soldiers go to get yelled at, cursed, and sometimes even trained. It’s like the military’s version of a jail for people who can’t handle basic training.

I got sent to Gagetown for being too lazy to do push-ups. Now I hate push-ups and the whole East Coast.

My cousin got stationed there and came back with a permanent frown and a smell that could rot a saint.

The place where the Army lives and the weather is the worst thing since the invention of bad decisions. It goes from hot and sunny to freezing and snowy in the blink of an eye.

I was doing drills in the Spring and it went from 20 degrees to -10 in one day. I got hypothermia and a migraine.

My room had mold so thick, I thought I was living in a horror movie. I slept with a mask on.
