Gagening is when a person so clueless they might as well be a ghost decides to shut up for no reason, even when someone is talking to them like they're not there. It's like being asked a question and choosing to be a wall.

My boss asked me if I wanted coffee. I just stared at him. He stared back. I left the room. That was gagening.

At the meeting, the guy next to me didn't say a word when everyone else was talking. He was like a ghost at a party.
