A fancy way to say ‘like, for example’ but still way too posh for your dumb brain.
Teacher: Explain this, e. g. ‘like, a dog.’ Student: I don’t even know what that means.
My mom says ‘e. g.’ like it’s a fancy word. It’s just ‘like, for example’.
I asked my teacher what e. g. meant. He said ‘like, for example’ and I said ‘you could have just said that’.
